Representing KSS Through Robotics in the FIRST Tech Challenge
We are a team proudly representing the Sikh Religion through our faith-based school, Khalsa Secondary School located in Surrey, BC. Our team has a strong passion for robotics which drives us to spread our knowledge, with a goal to provide the youth of our community and others, a non-discriminative exposure to robotics. We want to educate about FIRST and teach students how to code, build, and design robots. Most importantly, we want to enhance and develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
What Is FIRST Tech Challenge?
FIRST Tech Challenge events help students gain sense of accomplishment and confidence while they: collaborate and share ideas, compete with their robots, engage with cutting edge technology, creatively solve problems, and have fun.

At KSS we collaborate with our peers and set up workshops for kids from grade 5-8 on time to time basis. Our workshop help students gain knowledge on different STEM areas and robotics! click the button below for more information.
